Saudi Arabian human resources solutions provider Palm.HR said it has raised bridge funding in a round led by Nama Ventures with participation from some angel investors.
The HR solutions startup plans to extend its services to more Gulf countries and North Africa with this funding. It didn’t disclose the amount it raised.
Riyadh-based Palm.HR was founded in 2019 by Richard Schrems, Christoph Czichna and Dragan Nikolic. It aims to deliver a streamlined and intuitive work experience for teams of all sizes in the Middle East and North Africa region.
The company says its technology platform handles everything from employee onboarding, time and vacation tracking, payroll and offboarding, and is fully compliant with local regulations.
Tamara, the Saudi fintech, is one of its key clients.
Saudi Arabia-based visual content platform The Stock has raised $667,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by VEST Investment Company with the participation from an angel investor group.
The startup said the funding will allow it to add new offerings and develop its platform.
The Stock was founded earlier this year by producer and photographer Abdullah Al Musharraf. It provides innovators, professionals, and business owners with on-demand high-quality visual content.
The startup aims to empower Saudi photographers by providing them with an accessible platform, where they can showcase and sell their visual content.
